by Last 27th of January, I got invited by my co-blogger in an exclusive staycation for Bloggers in a private resort located in Antipolo. In the blogging industry, the chance of meeting co-bloggers is not really up on the menu all the time especially when you’re just new in the blogging world. So without any hesitation, I approved the invitation and went to the resort with Bobby to meet new friends.
Before we went to the resort, Bobby and I decided to swing by Pinto Art Museum – a very famous tourist destination in Antipolo, to check the place out and snap a few photos. It was actually my second time in the museum. The museum is still the same as December 2017 when I first visited the place, still a beautiful art gallery with a serene atmosphere as I remember.

TYVO Resort: What to Expect
After our side trip in the Pinto Art Museum, Bobby and I hired a tricycle to take us to TYVO Resort. To our surprise, the tricycle driver told us that the resort is only a few walks from the museum. I’m not going to deny but we really didn’t search for the exact location of the resort, the only thing that we know is that we were told the resort is very near from Ynares Center in Antipolo. And yes, we call ourselves travel bloggers. (haha!)
The Swimming Pool
Arriving in the resort, the first thing that I noticed was the pool and the overlooking view. Bobby and I were looking for people or staff but we didn’t find any so we just went inside the building. Before I forget to mention, the resort just opened last December of 2018, so some part of the resort is still in the process of upgrading.
As I was saying, excitement rushed while I was observing the place. The resort is located in an overlooking open area where you can enjoy a relaxing view of the mountains (which I personally find this kind of set up very relaxing all the time) while swimming in the pool or just chatting around with your friends.
KTV Room
A few more minutes later, few of our co-bloggers arrived and we decided to go downstairs where we found a kitchen area complete with the basic utensils and cooking wares (ref and a stove), and behind it is the grand KTV room. As we went inside the KTV room, we enjoyed ourselves singing and chatting while waiting for the others to arrive.
The Party Hall: TYVO Resort
After we finished playing songs and singing, Bobby and I decided to snap photos of the whole place for the blog. We went back in the first floor of the building which is the Party Hall where there’s a wide place perfect for events like birthdays, wedding receptions, and other social gathering events. There’s a huge staircase like those in the Princesses movies and a standalone karaoke partnered with disco lights that looks so fabulous at night.
Going up in the second floor is somewhat an event extension from the first floor/Party Hall. If you’ll be hosting a party in Tyvo Resort, I think that the second floor is still included. It’s also wide and there’s a veranda where you can see the view of the pool and the open area from outside.

Private Rooms and Dorm Rooms
The rooms are located in the third floor. There are 3 rooms, the first room is an air-conditioned room good for 2 people. I find this room very comfortable and relaxing because it has full glass windows, imagine waking up in the morning with a mountainous view from your bed. The other 2 rooms are dorm rooms and are also air-conditioned but is good for 6 people per room. All 3 rooms have each of their own comfort rooms and a veranda connecting all 3 rooms.

The rooftop is where you can get a full view of the resort’s location. It’s nice to hang up here but mind you, it’s also cold (haha!). I think that it would also be a great idea to chill up here while grilling hotdogs and BBQ’s with the charcoal grill provided by the resort. Nonetheless, the view is great and I love the thought of having a rooftop in a resort.
Meeting Friends while Travelling
We spent a lot of good times with my newly found blogger friends! We shared our stories how we started blogging and how we came up with the names of our blogs. Some shared advises and everyone was just so happy to listen. I love how everyone shared their insights and ideas and how inspirational they are to people and to me. How they work hard to shape their goals and their dreams in life are just so beautiful. Different people, crazy talents.
Like I said earlier, it’s not really easy to meet a lot of co-bloggers especially if you’re just starting. And I’m so happy that I was able to share one good time with them. It felt like my world just came to another beautiful expansion. This experience is definitely one for the books.

I think we can all agree that the resort’s main highlight is at night when the color of the pool turns to blue, when the mountainous view turns to city lights, and when the lights inside the Party Hall shines bright like sparkling stars.
Still, the resort is undoubtedly amazing at daylight!
How to get there
Option 1: Via Commute (DIY)
Find your way to any MRT going to Shaw Boulevard station then walk towards Park Leah jeepney station just beside the MRT. Ride a jeepney with a signage of Antipolo/Tanay then drop off at Ynares Center Antipolo, jeepney fare is PHP40.00 and travel time is 20-30 minutes only. From Ynares, charter a tricycle to TYVO resort or Pinto Art Museum (if you like to do a side trip before going to the resort) for PHP40.00 for the whole tricycle.
Note: Pinto Art Museum is just walking distance from TYVO resort.
Option 2: Via Private Vehicle
From Edsa, find your way to Robinson Galleria in Ortigas and turn right to Meralco then head southeast on Ortigas Ave toward ADB Ave. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Ortigas Ave/Ortigas Ave Ext. At Cleokas Trading III, Ortigas Ave/Ortigas Ave Ext turns slightly right and becomes L. Sumulong Memorial Circle. Turn right onto Grand Heights Road and right to Sierra Madre Street.
Tip: For private vehicles, I highly recommend to download the WAZE app before going. It’s the most useful and commonly used app nowadays by travelers.

For my personal observation and for the benefit of the newly opened resort, I noticed that there weren’t any staff available at all times just like when we arrived at the resort. The whole resort was really beautiful and I would still recommend it for staycations, family outing and events since overall I enjoyed my stay here and I’m sure that my co-bloggers did too. Some part of the resort is still under the process of upgrading, more reason to look forward on a relaxing stay. Also, towels weren’t provided.
